Here is the second version of my prototype for a hard cover for a RTT......
I really like this version except I'm concerned about the integrity of the front piece that you need to crawl over and its ability to support the weight of the extension when the tent is opened.
Secondly, there will be water and snow build up in the "tub" that I'm not comfortable with.
Thirdly...Lots of joints to seal when it closes. Way too many to secure in my opinion
I'm going to try a third prototype which will be a very simple, one piece unit......Almost like a boat that covers the tent.
