Visiting a friend to look at a golf cart and Centurion Bronco for purchase I had totally forgot he also had this "Turtle Top" 1973 Ford E250 van. Nice solid van, 302 Automatic.

Who knows maybe one day he will let loose of it if I pester him enough!

Not too bad. I've got a line on 1 without the "turtle top" that's rough so might get turned into a sheep shed or yard art.
What's the story on the Centurion Bronco?

Not the best time with all that virus thing but I got two of those vans, all original and started considering selling the 1969... They are sweet vans!

Cheers

Currently in the process of restoring a turtle top van myself. I would recommend that you pick it up if you can.

Just check the fiberglass of the top out as much as you can, I know they were a bit prone to cracking for some of the models. I haven't had any issues but to be safe I am probably going to have my buddy who builds sidecars give it a once over. Redo the gelcoat and see if he cant add a bit more structure to it at the same time.

The original fiberglass roof on this one is rough and sagging.

Might be better to reshape the original top with structure and make a new mold of the original top to construct a new fiberglass roof panel. Not that difficult and I know guys with fiberglass chopper spray operations to make a new fiberglass roof panel.

Wow, she looks great, and the early model to top it off! What roof style does it have? The one I posted above (1969) has the fabric top with metal roof and full windows like yours while my other one (1970) is a display van (no windows on driver's side) with the fiberglass roof and solid walls (metal/windows) instead of fabric. I really like that 2nd style, so easy to open/close and no wet fabric :)
