Price - $125,000 - SOLD

Hello!

We’ve decided to sell our dream setup, our jobs just don’t allow us to take the trips we were planning and use this the way we intended to. This is a true 4-season expedition style rig that can comfortably sleep 4 adults and (safely!) transport 5. This whole setup has been loved and taken care of to the utmost. It’s deep cleaned after every trip, floors have always been covered, seats are conditioned, this vehicle is immaculate. There is no other setup like this, it’s a flatbed side-entry hard-sided pop-up with a completely custom interior. Currently, Alaskan Campers is booked out 8 months from the time of order to completion.

We have the title in hand for both truck and camper. We are in no rush to sell, so please, serious offers only. Since the camper is separate from the truck and has its own serial number, financing is much easier than trying to finance a van at the same price.

We went from a Sprinter van into this to have a safer set-up (driving and living space separate along with true 4WD) and did a write up on it here: https://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/new-alaskan-side-entry-flatbed-8-5-build.198730/

This whole setup is under GVWR.

Truck:
2018 Ram 3500 LWB 6.4L Hemi with a 4.10 geared rear with MDS
All service records and maintained, still under warranty
25,600 miles
Leather seats (heated and cooled)
Heated steering wheel
Remote start
Custom rock sliders that can take the weight of the vehicle
5 DOT seats and takes up no living space unlike vans
Front windows tinted to match rear
Rear view camera
8.4” display with UConnect/Android Auto/Apple Carplay/Sirius XM (with subscription)
Husky Liners installed from day one
Tires: Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx in 295/70R18 - has matching spare. Still has about 11mm on the tread. Warranty through Discount Tire and rotated every 5k miles.
Wheels: 18” Fuel Off-road Vector (4 wheels, spare is steel). Warranty through Discount Tire.
Rough country 20” light bar mounted in front bumper
Custom fit sunshade. Only time the truck does not have this up is when we are driving.
American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) front mud flaps
Snow Chains (never used)
K&N engine and cabin air filter

Suspension:
Custom tuned for each axle 2.5” King shocks with remote reservoir from Thuren Fab on all 4 corners.
Thuren front coil springs that brings the front up 2” to match the rear
Thuren track bar
Add-a-leaf in the rear with 1” block on the passenger side and 2” on the drivers so the truck is completely level. No air bags, nothing to break and leave you stranded.

Flatbed:
2018 Custom Alum-line aluminum flatbed with underbody boxes. The boxes were specifically built to create a wheel well and have a nice departure angle
Powder coated black
Installed by MasterCraft here in Denver
Had a stress test performed to ensure the truck chassis and flatbed were not putting stress into the camper
Extra 2” hitch built into the flatbed for bike rack or cargo carrier. Won’t lose the departure angle because of the bike rack.
Line-x wheel wells

Camper:
2018 8.5’ flatbed side-entry Alaskan Camper
Hydraulic lift raises the camper, gravity lowers
Custom interior (does not look like the normal Alaskan interior)
44” rear dinette that turns into a bed
55” mattress in the cabover with a custom memory foam mattress on top of a Froli system - no moisture issues with winter camping.
Replaced all copper propane pipes with rubber propane hoses. This pretty much prevents any way for the fittings to become loose or the pipe to crack since there is now flex in the hoses.
30lb horizontal propane tank
24” StepUp Products folding aluminum steps. Double bars for increased strength.
Does not come with jacks but it is reinforced by Alaskan Campers for future jacks
Installed horizontal aluminum rub bars so the Pirelli flaps don’t rub the camper
Tons of storage with upper and lower cabinets
No toilet, 4 drawers instead - tons of storage!
Thetford 2-burner cooktop - really nice
Novakool 4.3 cu.ft (122L) DC fridge (fridge only)
Insulated curtains that match the fabric

Heating/Cooling:
Truma Combi propane combination furnace/water heater. Has 3 vents so the camper is very nice and warm. The Truma is so quiet, it’s amazing. We thought the water heater was excessive when we got it, it’s SO nice to have warm water!
Two Maxxair 7000k with remote fans

Electrical:
Battery isolator so the camper can’t draw down the truck battery
Two 105Ah Deep cycle AGM batteries charged via the truck alternator and solar
Solar: Zamp 170w panel to a Zamp charge controller.
Inverter: Windy Nation VertaMax Pure Sine Wave 500 Watt
12v charging station
LED ceiling lights
Exterior shore power outlet which provides 110v electricity inside

Water:
27 gallon fresh water tank
Truma Combi has 2.6 gallon tank
Replumbed with PEX tubing and crimp fittings
Water tank drain replaced with a real ¾” spigot and has heat wire wrapped around it so it won’t freeze in the winter.
Electric water pump with accumulator tank.
Outside hot/cold shower that has inside shutoff valves to prevent freezing in the winter

This is a great rig! I've chatted with the owner about it and his build process several times! It's well done for sure and should make for some awesome exploring!! Hope you find a great buyer who will enjoy and take care of it!
