SOLD

My sisters super clean and functional 1997 40th Anniversary Land Cruiser is up for sale. She is the second owner. It has 239,000 miles on the odo. Its whole life was spent in Oregon and for the last 3 years it has been in northern Nevada. She purchased it in 2016 with 233,000 miles and immediately spent a small fortune making sure that virtually all of the systems were up to par and serviced if not. Where possible.. all parts replaced were OEM Toyota.

I put together the “work to do” list for her regarding what needed attention and what systems needed a look even tho’ they appeared to be good to go. Most of the work was done by an awesome.. top tier master Toyota tech at Capitol Toyota in Salem Oregon. I have known him personally for years and he has been a Toyota tech for close to 35 years. Consequently with that length of time in the Toyota world.. he is very familiar with 80 series and was a trusted person to perform a good portion of the work on this 80 series.

So why is she selling it? My sister has had it for 5 years an only driven it 6,000 miles. I think she bought it since we had an 80 series. But her first trip with it.. the Mojave Road.. it got some scratches. As soon as we got back she had to have it detailed and the scratches buffed out. She fretted over those scratches from the time they happened until it returned from the detailer. Last summer she went on a few trips with us.. and scratches she got. She won’t admit it.. but I think she cannot bear to see scratches or imperfections of any kind. So she does not drive it and her Subaru is all she really wants now and needs.

So here it is.. the nuts and bolts
