Nice Forester !

I see that you have some HotBits too ! You could get more stroke with longer springs and even more with the DT2's.

I was hoping to get some help from you guys on the suspension,(DT2's ???) not a whole lot of options in the US. Whoever built this thing put a LOT of time & money in it. He sold it to a kid who hauled a motorcycle on the rear hitch & just beat on it. The coilovers need refreshing,(i've cranked them way down as no more MC on back) needs metric heims
The bumpers & sliders were made of tube steel, wrapped in sheet metal & smoothed with some bondo.

Soooooo, what's the question?

That is one of the more lifted Foresters I have seen for sure.

I was just about to propose the same. ;)

I think that this Forester belonged to GarettG, here's his journal.

He started simple on it but then went big and sold it!
I see you're in SW UT, so there are known three Aussie DR SF transmission in UT, you, myself and a bother buddy here in Moab with one to go in his 97 outback. ;)

@PGGRS, how long have you had this Fozzy?

Nice rig you got there for sure!!!

This is my 2004 OBS 5 spd. I upgraded from a 2002 Outback automatic that i eventually had 330,000km on. That outback introduced me to the world of Subaru AWD. The two winters I spent with that car amazed me. So I found this thing for $5,000 completely stock with 130,000km on it and was in awe. Since then I've added the rally armor flaps, STi shift knob, WRX seats for the front, gutted the rear to make more room for my dogs, added a bluetooth phone capable audio system and added a Cobb 2-way adjustable short throw shifter. For winters, I've got studded Hakapalita 8s for the Canadian Maritime weather. The only things I'm looking to add are the 2" lift and AT2s. Also installing the Group N hardened engine and tranny moutns and pitch stop this weekend.

My 2006 Forester. All stock, but with Geolander A/T-S, a skidplate and some extra lights. Good for hustling over dirt, which is handy as I work covering the Canadian Rally Championship and sometimes have to move quick to get into stages via junction roads and trails. These were taken stageside at Rallye Baie des Chaleurs last weekend.

Please ignore the dog snot inside the windows. And the mud. It's just SO hard to keep it clean...

Currently on a 3 1/2 week trip thru Wy, MT, and the Canadian Rockies. Stock 2013 Outback with Rollo roof rack and foam mattress in the back. Great travel rig!
