Tire Options for 4" Lift on a Class C?

Hey all -

I'm looking into lifting my 2011 Born Free 27' Class C. I'm torn between the 4" and 6" Weldtec kits. I asked Weldtec what size tires the 4" kit would accommodate and they said that no one has ever done a larger than stock tire on a 4" build before so they don't know. Seemed strange.

So anyway - Anyone out there with a 3" or 4" lift on a class C? Were you able to stuff bigger tires on it? I'm hoping for 235/85-16's if I can get them on the stock rims. I think they work with a 1/4" spacer.

Any input would be appreciated - I searched old threads and couldn't find any definitive answer.

That's what I put on a class C I had that I lifted. I do not remember the rim width but they were 16"s. I did not use spacers, I did have dual rear wheels on that rig.
