Hi!

I want to get a winch for my Troopie in South Africa.
I received a nice quote for a TMax 9000 12V - about $625US

Has anyone use winches from this company?
I had never heard of them before...

thanks

Hey Christian

Funny you post this today, mine showed up at my door yesterday PM!

I have never needed a winch and cant picture needing one for the type of stuff i do, but decided that its a good emergency tool, since i am planning some big SOLO trips this yea! A new $1100 Warn wasnt what i needed, seeing that it would probably only be used 1-2 a YEAR!

I was shopping for a winch deal (hoping to find used) for awhile and found a lot of the super criticle folks over on MUD are really digging the Tmax.

Spoke with several have had had theirs for years with zero problems!

Here is the thread for the info:

Also, i paid $525 for the 10k unit SHIPPED to my DOORSTEP!

www.summitracing.com has free shipping so i scored huge on that one!

They have it labeled as their "Summit Winch" but just as others have said, when you peel the Summit sticker off, there is a big T MAX badge under there!

Here are some links:

To the 10k for $509 SHIPPED

To the 9k for $450 SHIPPED

Anyway, I havent mounted it or used it yet, but it has gotten rave reviews and "Looks Good" :D

Good Luck!
