We have enjoyed our factory built Sunrader 4x4 since 2010. During our time with "La Tortuga" we have made many improvements and modifications (see list below). Recently, we sold our home in Arizona and now travel and live in a large motorhome with a Jeep in tow. We are just not using her anymore, so we're putting her up for sale. It still has the 22R engine and 5 speed manual transmission. The engine was rebuilt at 91k and the rig mileage is 116k. The 22R is slow, but reliable. We've been up to Vancouver Island, here in the Southwest and down to Los Cabos, MX. It's a fun, comfortable rig to enjoy the roads less traveled. It won't go everywhere a Jeep can go, but it can take you on a lot of roads requiring high clearance here in AZ and beyond. Our asking price is $35K or obo. We are currently located near Flagstaff, AZ. You can see a full 29 minute video on Mixflip youtube channel. Outside Magazine online also posted it up Check out the links below, then give Tim a call at 928 301 3536 or post questions here. Cheers!

We replaced the rear axle with an 8 lug Dana 60 with rear disc brakes. It gives the rig a wider stance and is solid! A shop customized a Ford Excursion anti-sway bar for a stable ride. Fake duallies put a huge force on the axle bearings and running duals off pavement tends to get rocks between the two tires and rips sidewalls. We were super happy to go to single rear wheel. Thanks for asking, cheers!

Hi,

What’s the interior height? I’m 6”1’ and would like to know if I’d fit standing up straight. One other quits carb’d not fuel injected, right?

Thanks,

Colin

Hi Colin, you’re not going to stand up straight at 6’1”. I’m 5’10” and am okay. Yes, it has a carburetor. Cheers!

Hey! We're at expo already because we're volunteering. Where and when will you be parked, exactly? We'd like to check it out
I’ll be in the parking lot beginning Friday morning. The will be bright for sale signs. Hopefully I’ll have a strategic location. Will arrive early. Would love to show it to you! Cheers!

Hello steelheadbum, thank you for your offer, but I'm downsizing...so no trades. That is a very cool Bronco though. My first car was a 1972 Jeep Commando, I kept it for 22 years! Cheers!
