The never ending project has needed some updates so that's what we've been doing in the small amount of free time have. The seats needed a refresh and that snowballed into new carpet and a bunch of Dynamat. I also ditched the overhead console & moved the sPOD switches to the D side door. Up front we built one of our FB003 front bumpers specifically to fit the Warn 16.5 by slightly moving the winch holes and adding an additional internal brace. Then I ordered a bunch of LED porn from Baja Designs :) Their stuff is so nice! When we re did V4 a few years ago and added the roll bar/headache rack we were unsure if the Sherpa would still be used on the flatbed, that restricted the design a bit and it was rushed so it has been bugging me. Scrapped what we had and started over by changing the design a bit to lighten it and changing the spare tire mount. Also adding a 90w solar panel to keep the batteries charged up. At some point I had the idea to add a soft top to the bed, will be nice to have some weather protection for gear and the roll up sides will give it a cool look. So that's what we did! Trying to launch it all at the AVL Beer City Fest next weekend, hope my upholstery guy can get it done in time..... we finished the rack yesterday, final welding is Tuesday. I'll post more pics and a video once it's all done and cleaned up!

would love to see more overhead photos of the way you set up your roof racks for accessories. Its like a game of tetris up there when figuring out the best spots for showers and panels

Yea they're all different. The big 7.3 we just did was the most elaborate to date, tried to fit everything possible up there and the customer wanted even more! If we do anything cool I try to get it in the video and I post pics here & IG during assembly.

That make conversions any cheaper that starting from 2WD? Thinking y'all might be able to reuse parts rather having to buy everything outright??

Not for most cases, depends on the yr/engine/transmission. You'll always pay a premium for an existing 4wd van, will spend more in the long run than getting a good 2wd donor.

This is a rare late model V10 cargo, hard to find. They originally just wanted the high top but we discussed suspension and they took a ride in V7 which convinced them that our leaf kit was the way to go.
