Ventilation for sleeping - truck bed with cap

I went all in with my commercial topper this time. You really need to move that air when it's hot. I'm using a Fan-Tastic fan with automatic open/close and thermostat. I wired it to a relay so it closes when the ignition is switched on. They also make a low profile version. I love the fan and the only downside is that I would have placed another solar panel on that side. Maybe not for everyone, but it makes a hell of a difference.

I use a fantastic fan between the cap and cab with a rain deflector made out of roof sheathing and Dac tent in back for extra room and ventilation. If it's really hot the fan goes on the tailgate with rainflaps open on tent.
