Weird Noise From Rear Door

I have been getting a weird noise from my back door. When driving straight-nothing. But when I turn and go up any incline or uneven pavement or dirt this grinding sounds comes from the back. I have been able to isolate it into the locking mechanism. I put some tape in there to isolate it further. I put electrical tape around the locking mechanism where the door meets the frame and it seemed to go away. As always when i go to my mechanic he can't find a thing. I've tried moving the door with the tire on and off and can't replicate it. Definitely worse when the spare is on.

Anyone got any ideas?
