I'm so happy Marc is using that idea of the tire storage behind the cab of the truck!
I have emailed back and forth occasionally over the last couple years and mentioned that I really wanted that storage setup! :wings:

I need to clarify that is not my blog. It is done by a couple named Sam and Erica. However I agree it is a VERY impressive trip, and they have excellent photos and write-ups of their experiences.

Thanks for the update. Do you know when we might see a production version of the V2???

UPDATE: V2 now in production, see below.

From Marc at XP: "We set up our own fiberglass shop across the parking lot from the existing factory. As some of you know, we had some tough times with our past Sub contractors. Form late deliveries, to overbuild parts, to under build parts to non deliveries. I saw it all.

Now we have complete control over scheduling and quality. We get better more consistent parts and shorter delivery times.
We also can make changes on the fly and come up with new concepts and already manufactured thefirst Composite panels for the EEXP build!

When we stared here in Grass Valley we had a 2500sqft shop. Now we have over 23000 sqft!"

Production in full swing. You can see two V1's and one V2 being manufactured. XP has added 7 employees and more are to come:
