yes you do see a few patrols and a few mitsi , even the Odd Rolls Royce capetown to london ! but you will see far more of the others and even Unimogs than you will american iron , which is a bit of a pity as there are some real interesting base units .

I drove my Stock Jeep TJ 40,000 miles from Alaska to Argentina. There are Jeep dealerships in every single country along the way, so getting parts was not an issue in the Americas.

Zero breakdowns meant that was no issue for me.

Africa and Central Asia are a different story.

I voted for the TE 4Runner. The $80k LC 200 is too much money for most folks to really use (I understand that) but at least they are sold and come up used for the rest of us in 10 years!

Scott, appreciate this poll but when will your choice for the Overland SUV be announced? Did I miss it?

Was the new Rubicon designed by Rubbermaid? :sombrero:

Seriously, what's up with that front bumper?

The versatility is great it will carry lots with lots of room and dependability is much much better from all my research.

It seems to be best "all around"

It gets out done is some areas but not by much. It is good at everything and great at somethings.

Can I still vote for the Xterra? Ive had an 07 offroad for 4 years. Been a helluva rig on and off road, towing, hauling family and big dogs around. Reliability has been insane. I average $340/year in repairs.
