Super Siphon-eers: A simple solution to an irritating problem

As users of the "Super Siphon" know, they are extremely handy, but not when you are trying to get the last bit of fuel out; even starting the siphon can be irritating sometimes.

The credit for this idea does not go to me though, but rather another ExPo member, who shall remember nameless until he pipes up about piking on Saline...

So, this is the common issue, you just can get the last bit of fuel out with a curved siphon.

All you need is your Super Siphone, a piece of appropriately sized PVC, and a hose clamp or two, depending on the fit of the siphon in the pvc.

Use one hose clamp on the end of the siphon to keep it from backing out of the pvc:

And now you have a handy dandy last-bits-o-fuel-getter!

Wow, what a simple solution!

What are your plans for breakdown and storage?

I feel as though the entire post should be read with the Billy Banks Oxyclean voice.

No clue on storage.
