Ash  posted in the current Partner stove thread about her new CP unit. She commented on the Ragasco LPG bottle also.

A quick Google search bought up the parent company but not where to buy them. Partner Steel has them on there web site but no prices.

Any leads on where to find one ?

Here's another composite tank made in the USA that I use with my partner stove... very competitive price and quick shipping.

I have heard mixed reviews on the lite bottle so I went with the Ragasco. They were almost impossible to find (in the smaller size). Partner Steel has them at an awesome price of ~$90 but wont have any in until September. I tracked down some at West Marine for ~$106 and had them ship to store. Everywhere else that currently has them (which isn't many!) has them listed at ~$150+. I searched online for hours and hours and rung around a lot of leads to find these guys. The Ragasco units are incredibly popular right now, and are flying out the door. After getting mine I can see why! Very very well made, very light, and I love how you can actually see the amount of LPG in the bottle. Very useful.

The Ragasco US distributor's website has a "buy online" option on the left side of the home page.

Thanks for the tip Ash, saw the link to this thread in the Partner Steel stove thread.

Will check out out, as I want to replace my old 5 lb bottle.

PS, found it there, but not the model mentioned in this thread.
TRIDENT RUBBER
LP Gas Fiberglass Tank

Are they the same tank, different name?

Yeah, that's the one. It is actually a Ragasco bottle, but for some reason they are marketed under 'Clearview', 'Trident' and 'Ragasco' in the US at the moment. I can see that changing when the distribution network is better set up.

I would encourage Expedition Portal businesses to add these tanks to their inventory. Go to www.ragasco.com to learn more.

Yes Ash, thanks for the link.
I paid the same and then some for two day shipping.
It will arrive Wednesday so that will give me time to get it filled for my vacation.

Talk about service!
I ordered it yesterday morning around 7 am on my break, and I paid for two day shipping.
She said it would ship yesterday sometime, so that would mean a Wednesday delivery.

It is at my home now, so this was overnight/next day shipping as it arrived at my place at 9:30 am.

Talk about fast delivery :victory:

I have heard mixed reviews on the lite bottle so I went with the Ragasco.

I'm surprised - my experience has been good, rather problem-free, and no different than my experience with steel tanks except for the light-weight and ability to see the liquid volume.

Can you cite the reviews or describe the events that you heard which steered you away from this product? No intention to be argumentive but I'd like to be fore-warned of any issues with this tank before they happen.

Ash, thanks again for the link.
The place I get it filled locally was impressed with the tank.
They carry the bigger 20 lb fiberglass bottles, but they liked this one better.

The bottle did not come with a rubber cap to put over the valve when no hose is connected to it, but Cenex put one on for me for free.
